My 14 month old choked on a piece of banana last month and I completely froze. Bought this the same day. Haven't had to use it yet but just having it next to the high chair makes mealtimes so much less stressful.

Got this after my friend's daughter had a choking scare. It's simple and easy to understand. I keep one in the kitchen and one in the diaper bag. Hope I never need it but glad it's there.

FTM here and I panic about everything. My sister who is a nurse told me to get one of these. She keeps two in her house. If that doesn't say something I don't know what does.

My son choked on a grape at dinner and my husband had to do back blows. It worked but we were both shaking for hours after. Ordered this that night. Never want to feel that helpless again.

Haven't had to use it thankfully. Feels solid and well made. The carrying case is nice for keeping one in the car. Gave one to my mom who babysits every Wednesday.

I took a CPR class before my baby was born. When she actually gagged badly on some avocado I couldn't remember a single step. This doesn't need me to remember anything. Place push pull. That's it.

Bought the biggest bundle. Kitchen, playroom, car, diaper bag, my mom's house, and my in-laws. My husband said I was going overboard. I told him choking doesn't care which room you're in.

Three kids under five. I cannot watch all of them every second they eat. This is my safety net. Same reason I have baby gates and cabinet locks. Just one more layer of protection.

Seems well made. Only reason for 4 stars is I wish it came with a wall mount. I just keep it in the drawer next to the high chair. Other than that very happy with the purchase.

My daughter choked on a piece of chicken at 15 months. I was right there watching her eat. It was completely silent. No coughing. Nothing. That experience changed me. I'll never not have one of these in my house.

My neighbor's kid choked at a birthday party last year. Six adults in the room and everyone froze. That story haunts me. I have four of these now and I tell every parent I know.
